Project comments: If there was ever a set of doors that were large and in charge, look no further than the homes being built at Del Bello Lakes in Manvel, TX. Well, that "nothing too spectacular" opening is 6 feet wide and over 9 feet tall! To say that the doors would be large is an understatement. They were monstrous. What most readers don't know is that the homeowner is a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity which is an African-American men's fraternity that was started back in 1911 and are distinguished by two main colors - a special shade of purple and gold.
Of course, I didn't know this until I met the owner in person, but I would have swapped the handles out for a set of gold ones just to make the final reveal pop even more. In any case the "Que dawg" was happy with the final look and we were happy to deliver on the Purple Monster barn doors...
